What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That would make the platform set once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
