Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
